Problem starting engine
Hi All,
I think I have two questions. Recently I had gotten an oil change from Synthetic to dino. The following day I had problems starting the engine. I tried turning the engine a couple of times using just the turn of the key. After the 3rd time I applied pressure to the gas pedal which started the car. Recently it seems to have gotten worse and I wasn't sure if it was caused by the change in engine oils or if it could possibly be the starter/solenoid or something else. Can getting an oil/filter change effect how the car starts? Also my girlfriend told me she started it and it stalled 30 second later. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!!!

If the starter can spin (turn) the engine at a good speed then you can eliminate starter + solenoid as a problem source.
Assuming the service had nothing to do with what you have, I would say look at the IACV (search will give you plenty to read).
If the service has something to do with it .. I would look for disconnected vacuum line.

You got more than what you paid for.
If you are DIY type it should be plenty.
If not you have to pay the piper as shipping cost will be much higher than what you would pay at the dealership.
