Power steering fluid removal and refill
The PS fluid in my 2000 RX300 (two in the house) is in black. I removed the dirty fluid from the reservoir and filled with new. I did this every weekend for the last 6 weeks. The color of the PS fluid still in black after a week. It doesn't seem to show any progress.
I am wondering if there is any chance that this remove-refill method will ever get the PS fluid back to near clean state.
Is there a safe-for-DIY procedure to flush PS fluid?
I changed engine oil, AT fluid (drain-and-fill), gear oil, break fluid and can do most DIY jobs with description. I like to get the "last" part of dirty fluid from under the hood.

There was a good write-up here a number of years ago (with photos). As I recall, the upper hose going to the plastic container flows into the container (could be the lower one?). You get matching hoses, and plug the container and run an extension of the hose that was going into the container to a glass jar. Then you run the engine for a very short time while refilling the container with fluid. The fluid goes through the system and out into the jar for the flush. I haven't done this for about 3-4 years.

What type of PSF or ATF fluid are you using?
I'd highly recommend you use Mobil 1 ATF just as TunedRX300 showed in his thread. I have also been using this for several years and have had nothing but positive results.

I'd be interested to know the brand you are using for the PSF Fluid. I used to use a Valvoline fluid that I brought down from the U.S. when I lived in Mexico. I consider a synthetic ATF fluid to be better than PSF fluid. Mobil 1 ATF is an excellent choice and I was fortunate enough that I found it available in Mexico a few years back.
