Default New Mod Possible...

I would like to know if there are any disadvantages with blocking this area of the front bumper circled in red? It has to be opened for a reason right? Maybe to let air in or something? Please let me know, I'm in the process of thinking about putting an LED bar just like the on the newer Audi. Its going to be custom fitted into that section of the bumper.

On the passenger side, there is a tranmission cooler that needs the air from that opening.

2nd gen RXs, if I am not mistaken, relocated the cooler to the driver's side (where it should have been all along). That would kill of my bullhorn intake idea.

When I worked on the transmission this past December. I think one could possibly do this, but it would take a bit of work to adjust the lines coming out of the front of the transmission.
