Have not heard of them, but after comparing it to K&N, I can't see much difference other than the price...K&N is cheaper. I see what AFE is saying about the design of their filter, but this is going to result in such a small difference that won't be discernable.
I remember way back when I first got down to Mexico, I had switched from my OEM filter to a K&N, and I could notice a slight difference in the way the vehicle accelerated...and especially at high altitude. That difference won't be as noticeable at lower altitudes. But I don't see a difference with the technology that AFE is telling you about, it uses pretty much the same system that K&N relies upon.
