Yes. Plus you also have the A/T temp light light. I have never been able to find out what temp this light is set at but I have never heard of anyone having this light come on no matter waht type of towing or driving conditions. Another sign that maybe the trans is not running too hot.

ive been using mobil atf 3309, works great from what i can tell, pretty sluggish in these cold mornings for a few miles but other than that im getting better gas mileage and it shifts smoother, gonna do a drain n fill on my next oil change, so far ive only done a pan drop/filter change and no drain n fills.

Ok guys the 35330-06010 filter is a paper one and that is the only one that Lexus and Toyota have in their parts system now. Does anybody have a line on the original mesh type filter and what is the number:::?????

The local dealer here in Charlotte shows part number 35330-06010 and a price of $54.17. They do not stock them and have to order it. They also said it was a metal strainer, I was going to order this because the one I have now is paper.

Well guess what thru deep search of my records the original filter number was 35330-21020 which is no longer available and superseded by the new number which is a paper filter. So Did toyota recongnize a problem and go to filter medium... kind of blows the fluid flow theories, or did it, mine tranny failed right after I switch to the new filter, and now you can not get the old filter (screen) anymore....More in the secretative society of Toyota motor company....

Wow, very interesting. The Lexus dealer here said it was a "metal strainer" and they do not stock them because it's their policy to not change them. Only drain and fill. If it is a paper one, I'll go with Wix for that price! Or leave the one that's in there now.
I'll run the old part number by them that you found and see what they say, I'd love to know what type of filter would come on a U140 if you bought one tomorrow? Paper? Why the change to paper? Money? Or is there another issue out there? The flow theory here is a good one and that is why I was wanting to go back to metal.
When I was concerned about their policy of only doing drain and fills, I dropped the pan two months ago to clean the magnets and change the filter. The filter in it was paper, so it was changed previously. I've owned the vehicle since it had 40K on it in 2005.

So both toyota and lexus remember the metal filter but havent look at one of the new part number filters. By the way the new part number is at least 4 to 5 years old. my last metal strainer was purchased in 2001....under the old number
