Default Lexus rx300 2001 wont start.. Please Help!

Hello all my lexus all of a sudden does not start and i can only see
the attention light on the right of the check engine light blinking.. It is a
shape of a car with what seems like flashing lights on the rear. Please someone give me a little help with this...Thanks for any help..

You need to be more detailed about the problem. Does it crank over? Does it start and stall? What does it do when you turn the key? Also the light on your dash doesn't seem like its Check Engine Light....it seems more like burnt tail light warning or Vehicle skid control failure warning.

Thanks for replying.. Okay i could get the car to start but it wont idle. If i hold the gas pedal it will run but when i let go of the pedal it turns off completely. Any help please!

I had the same issue with mine a few years ago. My friend said it was either the MAF sensor or fuel pump going bad, i replaced the MAF sensor and TADA!! it worked. May not be your issue but that was my experience. One thing you could try before going out and buy and new MAF sensor is going to advance auto parts or a similar place and buying some MAF sensor cleaner and try cleaning it first to see if that works. If not the sensor may be just completely shot. Hope this helps

sounds like your i.a.c valve (idle air control)

I would say start with cleaning the throttle body first. I had sam symptoms as u described on my 02 highlander before and cleaning tb worked. and go with maf sensor
