Default Starting problem (have to step on the gas)

I have a 2000 RX300 with 135k miles. Sometimes I have to step on the gas to start the car. After it has been running, I can turn it off and restart it with no problem. I have tried using fuel injector cleaner but it didn't help.

Battery is good, Spark plugs have been replaced, Have always used Premium gas. Any suggestion is greatly appreciate it!

If you need to keep your foot on the gas to keep the engine running, IACV may be clogged up. Do a search and you will find a DIY.

I only need to give it gas to start it. Once started, it idles fine. I found the DIY and will try it out to see if this helps. Thanks for the great info!
