I like the look. Notice any improvement in handling? Did they affect the speedometer reading? What brand and size tires? Happy with them?

Great deal! It obviously pays off to shop carefully. It certainly did add to the looks of the car, and with minimal cost. Maybe even add a tad to value....

Tires are OEM Goodyears, despite what people say about the RS-A's they handle WAY better than the Integrities we had on. They're almost identical to stock height so, the diameter didn't change enough to affect the speedometer. Handling feels a lot better, but then again our old tires have seen some miles. We couldn't be happier with the tires/rims...especially for the price!

It took me a week of hunting on craig's list, but a couple of gems popped up!

Default We've got similar, but the chromed

We've also got rx330 wheels on our RX300, but we've got the chromed ones. Our valence is color-matched, too... makes for a nice combo (but I kind of like the matte finish wheels better than chrome).

That's funny, because we were looking for chrome, but these came up and they were 99% perfect so we jumped on them. I love the monochrome RX! There is another guy with a black RX that put the gunmetal (not my silver rims and not your chrome rims) RX330 rims on.

How is the (lowbeam) HID kit? Did you have to mangle/cut/modify the back of the headlight, gasket, etc?

Glare?

(Or, am I crazy and HID is stock? I don't own a RX300, the girlfriend does, and it doesn't have HID)

Very nicely done, we're looking to do something similar. Hope you don't mind. Do you have any sort of issues regarding clearance/turning radius? How do you/your wife like the Magnaflow muffler performance and sound?

No issues whatsoever. No sacrifice in ride quality, no rubbing, etc. The magnaflow sounds very good! Very subdued, but sporty like a quite FX35. I recommend it for sure...plus I think it looks a hell of a lot better too!

We haven't noticed any change in miles/tank or what the computer is telling us for mpg (still averaging about 21 combined). But given the size and probable weight increase I would have to assume it's gone down a little...just nothing drastic that is noticable.
