Default Sticking throttle

Just got my 2002 RX 300 last week, butnoticed that the trottle sticks when starting from standstill. It causes a sudden launch when the trottle passes that sticking point.
Suggestions? Where do you lube this?

Thomas1 thanks, but it feels more as if it is in the cable system.
My idle is fine.

^^ Examine the two ends for frays and lube.

Do you feel the pedal sticking?

If you can not solve it, please take the RX to a mechanic. This is a safety concern.
