Tuned,does that go for the new 0W-30 advanced fuel economy formula as well?
Not sure (see previous post) but maybe not. I personally like the old SM rated 0w-20 and 0w-30 because the old formulation (base oil + additive package) is superior. SL oil just require oil to have low sulfur to be more catalystic convertor friendly but not proven better performance wise. Tons of Used Oil Analysis reports posted by independent end users proved it. All of us us piled more miles with SM oil and I don't recall many cat failures.
I have a stash of M1 SL 0w oil but that's the extend that I will use Mobil products. For group III oil, I have bought couple cases of Penzoil Platinum @ $0.99 a quart but prefer not to use PP for 1mz-fe.
