I am getting the check engine light coming on with the traction control light(4 wheel drive)--they come on together for about 3 days then go off for several weeks--now have done this for the third time---any ideas why this happens?

if you dont have a scanner/reader,go to Auto-Zone and have them read the codes.let us know what the codes were before you spend any money.
