These bearings are pressed into the wheel hub and require a press to push them out, hopefully without breaking the hub. That is why the added expense. the Hub has to be removed ( unhooking the tie rods, shock, ball joints , drive shaft, etc.)

Before changing the bearing....check the lower ball joint.....my RX made the same sounds....and the ball joints were worn. You can pick up a pair for $30-40. After installation, you will need a wheel alignment and tire balance.
