Opted to give Texaco gas a try and filled up with 93. I noticed there was an unusual 4th option....100 octane!
I realize it may be harmful to run that often, but are there any benefits to running a tank of this every few months?

I doubt it would do much of anything. I would think that you are getting the timing fully advanced with 93 octane, so 100 is just overkill. You may actually make less power too. Octane that is too high for a given engine combination will not only waste your money, but will reduce your horsepower because the high octane fuel burns slower to reduce detonation. 93 is plenty for most unmodified street cars. I have used 100+ octane in my RX300 back in Mexico, but that was for other than track purposes (actually was using it because it was cleaner gas than Pemex and wanted to clean out my tank and filter), but it doesn't make much of any difference. Running at the track in the 1/4 mile would maybe if you're lucky add .1 seconds, statistically significant, but with U.S. gas, you don't need it.
