2001 RX300 NON nav system IPOD connection

Any suggestions for hooking up my Ipod? I just bouth a 2001 RX300 WITHOUT the nav system.

I did a writeup last summer of a direct-wired installation of XM satellite radio. It would be the same for an iPod, basically. Another alternative is to go in through a cassette input device. I like that better than a FM radio pickup because the car antenna doesn't go up and down. The direct-in sounds better and you don't have wires hanging, but it is more work.
