Hello everyone,
A month a go I noticed that the shift points when driving were not the same as usual. Sometimes it would run up to 3000 rpm and wouldn't shift . I would slow down and it would normally shift in a minute or two. I've been monitoring the thread and some people say they let there cars warm up before driving. Is my trans going south?
Also, I've noticed that when backing out of the drive way and putting it in drive I hear a pop from passenger side front engine area. It's like something is not starting in the drive line.
Any suggestions is appreciated. I have a appointment Monday morning. 3-9-2009
thanks
jeff

Welcome to the Club.
When I'd have odd shifting, I'd pull the battery cables and let the vehicle reset. Somehow I remember someone a few years back that had a terrible acceleration issue and ended up pulling the cables and things were back to normal after that.
You do have the let the vehicle warm up a bit before it will let you get into the higher gears, that's normal.
