Here's the story,

I have a '00 model that is about due for a tire change BUT it's wifey's daily driver. She doesn't want to dramatically change the profile so after much searching I've identified an ideal candidate: OZ Racing Sinfonia. A tire shop in my area has a closeout special on a set of 18x8's. From previous posts it seems that I'll need to use one inch spacers all around. I realize that there's a risk of future damage when using spacers but I want something wider than stock.

Here's the question,

Will bringing the wheels out a total of 2 inches cause them to rub against the fender under full suspension or when making a full turn?

I just put new wheels on my '01 RX. They are 18X7.5 with a 20mm offset on 255x55x18 Yokohama AVS S/T. I was woried about the struts in the back, but the key here is the offset and overall tire height and how wide the tire is. The wheel is 1 in wider than the stock wheel but the offset is less, which brings the wheel out farther so it clears the struts in the back. The tire is only 1/2in taller than stock so the speedo error is very small. They fit great, and it corners very flat now.
