I have a stupid question that I cannot figure out.
On my 99 RX, I cannot figure out how to get access to the flooring under the rear seats. I have two small children that seem to get to more snacks and food under the seats than in their mouths.
Can anyone give me suggestions short of removing the seat to clean under it?
Thanks in advance...

You can slide the seat completely forward and then fold it down. that allows some access. Removing the rear seat is not bad either with a socket wrench...

Thanks for the input, I am really trying to not remove the seat as I have a couple of car seats back there. My old 93 Ford Explorer had easy access when the seats were folded flat, there was a small panel that flipped up to have full access under the seats. I am surprised to find that Lexus doesn't have that kind of access. Typically, Lexus owners like to keep their cars clean to a higher level than others.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

It's hard to get under there without removing the seats... but there is a way to get better access.
The "rug" like sheet that covers the back side of the rear seats- that stuff is "clipped" to the body of the car. You need to pry it up. Really hard to explain... ill try to get some pics tomorrow.
