The DYI was great for pads...why cant the rear rotor come off. Do I have to do somethign with E btake to get pads to pull away?

Hit with rubber mallet ..nothing budged. No bolts to push off rotor like front.

If the e-brake is released they are just stuck. Even if there was a groove worn in the drum part they would move around a little. Just give it a good smack with a sledge hammer, rubber mallet is not heavy enough to do anything.

Default Car had to go back to school

I smacked the rotor as hard as I could with an oak hammer handle beteen another hammer and rotor....It didnt budge. No metal on metal with brake pads. I did not want to bend or warp rotor just yet until I had more time. I probably need heat and a little liquid wrench too befor pounding.
