You're just too persistant, you need to be more lazy. It's great!

Tell ya what, if you can wait until next weekend (Easter weekend) I'll have a three day weekend when I am going home - II'll try then.

Alright, like I said, I'd try it this weekend. I got as far as Paul did and kept looking, yanking, and trying to peek a look beind to see the behind the bumper where the light is. Those plastic pins are trouble! I thought the plastic fender-well would come out after all the screws were out and the rear mud guard was off, not the case at all.

I looked all around under the RX and the only thing left to suggest would be to just unscew all the phillips screws that hold the bumper on If you open the rear hatch you'll see more philips screws holding on the bumper. I tried prying off a plastic pin on the underside of the bumper (its a pin that is holding the bumper on the underside - there are two) above the hitch, but it wouldn't snap out.

ok mrsypher... i and many others are waiting on your brothers friend who works for lexus to give everyone, who has rear markers but cant get them in, the wonderful insight needed to change those freaking bit$%es.

yea, im really looking forward to changing the rear markers too. the car now kind of looks funny with clear ones in the front and red ones in the back. it just doenst seem balanced anymore. from a purely artistic point of view, the car is not "color" balanced. theres too much red in the back now (i have a '99 so i got the deep red rear housing lights).

oh and can i just say the passenger side marker was a BIT%& to get in. ripped my arms up! geez!

please mrsypher help us!!!
