Hi, all.

The rear right and front right doors no longer open/close when I push the remote. Both the driver and rear left work perfectly.

The problem begain after I had AAA open the rear right door. The doors locked after I closed the door (with the car running, of course, a dumn thing to do).

AAA took a bar and jigged the rear right door. The door fought the AAA technician and, after 20 minutes of same, lost the battle. Since then I the rear right door does not lock/unlock when I use the remote key.

After 6 months of this, I summoned enough courage to buy the repair manual and try to fix it.

I fiddled with the actuator and the wires. I gave up. I tried locking the car with the remote and NOW THE FRONT RIGHT DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK. Before I played around, that front right door worked well with the remote.

Talking about frustration!!!

I'm not convinced new door actuators are needed. Maybe I'm not honed on a simple task that has to be done.

Any advice out there?!?

Based on a bunch of threads, looks like Lexmex is a 'guru' on 1999 Rx300s.

Lexmex is the Rx300 guru and very helpful as well.

For lock issues, look for posts by code58. We just had a discussion and the thread would still be on the first page.
