The high side is in front of the radiator and the low side is on the engine side of the radiator below the diagnostic port....

I am all for DIYs but blindly adding refrigerant, without checking the pressure (low and high) can make things worse. AC repair is very expensive, so exercise caution.

I have all the equipment to do A/C work and have done it for about 35 years and I can only say, if you're gonna add refrigerant, do some research on it and get the equipment (at the very least a set of inexpensive gauges) and don't just "dump" some refrigerant into the system, hoping it will cure the problem. That's truely dangerous and I question whether they should even offer refrigerant to the general public, because of the danger of serious errors in use (misuse).

KP,if your not sure where to add refrigerant,I would suggest letting this to a qualified tech.As salim mentioned already you can really mess it up if you dont do it right.too much refrigerant is not going to cool properly either. Is your a/c light flashing?
