Thumbs up Bi-Lingual Dashboard Display

I just bought a 2000 RX 300 that was built for the Canadian market (i.e. metric measurements). Is there a way to change the Dashboard Information screen to Farenheit/MPH instead of the current celcius/KPH. I would check my owners manual, except that it is in French...lol...

My new manual is on order.

Thanks

The display in question is not the speedometer, it is the multi-information display located above the radio. It shows temp., fuel economy, time, etc.

If it is a matter of software, where do I get it? Any online sources?

i'm a canadian myself so i don't have to worry.
but i'm pretty sure you can get it straight from the factory in japan. just go to your lexus dealer parts department and order it.
but isn't there a way to change it youself by pressing a few buttons.

but if you want my honest opinion cause i'm in florida for a good 2-3 months/year. i'd just leave it alone be like the rest of the world thats on the metric system not the imperial system.

just my 2 cents

You may just have to get a new multi-information LCD display and/or computer for it. There was a screen for sell on ebay a few days ago, don't know if it still is.

I tried pulling the fuse today for the multi-information display. I was hoping that would reset it to MPH, etc. No such luck. I guess I will just have to learn metric unless someone has some ideas.

BTW, the canadian exchange rate makes a canadian lexus a great value.
