Default Tail Lights

None of my tail lights will work yet all four brake lights are working. I replaced all four bulbs but still have the same problem. The side lights, turn signal, and backing lights all work properly, so I think that rules out a fuse, correct?
Any suggestions on what to try next?

No, the filament is different and they circuits are different ... so you can have a popped fuse.

You should have a fuse just for the tail lights. Make sure when you check the fuse for the tail lights that you don't just look at it to check it but use a test light and if it tests OK, also "reset" it (pull it out and push it in a couple of times).

I can't find the fuse that is just for the taillights. In the owner's manual is says that Fuse 43 "TAIL" powers the Tail lights, side marker lights, license plates, and parking lights. I have changed this fuse, but it didn't fix the problem.

I used a new fuse and reset it a few times by pushing it in and out.

Am I reading the manual incorrectly? Is there another fuse that I should check?

Make sure the light bulbs you get are correct and have double filements.
