But then his unfortunate little accident with an apparent crator on the road (kinda like here in PA ) actually broke/cracked the trans pump.Other wise it may still be going.I even have 108,000 miles on my 01 AWD.(original) transmission.

True, true, true........just make sure to keep up on ur trans fluid and filter(whatever lexus calls it). There are a lot of RX's out there with a lot of miles that have had no issues with the trans.
