Does anybody have experience replacing the rubber boot on the front brake caliper piston? One of mine got torn when I replaced the brake disc pads
.
It looks like you might be able to replace it without removing the piston. Is this correct, or am I missing something?

It then goes on to add remove the piston from the cylinder by putting a piece of cloth between the piston and the caliper and then using compressed air to remove the piston from the cylinder.
