My CE/VSC lights came on a few months ago. After taking it to the dealership, they said that it was cause by a loose gas cap, so they reset it. It's back again. This time they said it's from a "broken CCV valve nipple." I broke it... lol... The codes they pulled were; "P0440.P0441.P0446 EVAP" I think that's still from the gas cap?
regardless, I need to fix this thing.
I know there are TONS of PCV Valves out there, and by the looks of it, none of them look like this one. Does anyone know where I can get a new one of these? I also thought about melting it back on there if I can't find the thing...
It's from my Lexus RX300 (2001). Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

If you dig, you will find Lexmex picture post on the valve. Somewhere, there was a mention of metal barb instead of plastic [dont recall if the metal is new or old].
I would strongly suggest to buy the replacement from the dealer [or net dealer]. When it comes to sensors, best bet is to stay OEM.
Real thorough cleaning would be required if you plan to use epoxy.

for some reason the pvc valves that I have found online (maybe including this one) are the wrong type??? they all have one elbow, with no 2nd nipple (the part that broke on mine)...

I found a small set of fittings for vacuum tubing at the local auto place. Glued it in, waiting for it to dry. Super tight fit! hopefully it will work

If you go to www.newlexusparts.com and search on the Toyota/Lexus part number you provided, you will find the part for $45. The PCV valve is listed under another part number for less than $10 but looks nothing like it.

You are right they do "seem" more expensive. But be careful and make sure you look at the final price. For example you can find a $110 part on newlexusparts.com that sells for $102 on lexuspartsonline.com making it "seem" cheaper. But shipping is free on over $100 at newlexusparts.com and can cost as much as $20 on a $100 part at lexuspartsonline.com. I haven't been able to find any one cheapest source of lexus parts over the years. You have to evaluate each individual part. I prefer and usually end up using Irontoad. But the hassle there is they don't have the online parts searching so you need to email for a quote.
