Hi all, got an issue I have not seen covered here. For the past few thousand miles when I am at highway speeds, 50mph+, when I take my foot off the accelerator, no braking, the car shimmies very much like a warped rotor feeling. can be very pronounced at times. other time barely noticeable but its there. I did replace the coil packs recently but did not affect this. car has about 177k on it and runs great. any thoughts? thanks

Did you start with the basics like making sure lugnuts are tight, balancing the wheels and possibly alignment?
Have the wheel bearings been replaced?
Inspect tie rods and ball joints
Check the axle boots and make sure they arent ripped.
A few years back my brother had a civic with the same exact issue you described. He did absolutely everything i mentioned above and ended up being a seized axle joint. When he turned, the axle did not click, nor had a ripped boot so therefore it was the last thing we tried. A RX300 is a different car altogether but just wanted to put this out there just in case.
