so my car has a mind of it's own. it used to be that i would turn it off take the key out of the ignition but then i could still play the radio and my information screen would never turn off it would just stay lit no matter what i did unless i unplugged the battery. so when i recently got my timing belt done the mechanics cleaned something out in my trunk and it stopped doing so. however now sometimes when i turn my car off the same thing happens sometimes and then disappears. but now lately when it happens my screen just starts shuttering really fast. they said it was the immobilizer?
but idk if thats an actual part or whats the deal. if anyone has similar problems what'd you do? or anyone have any idea what this is just let me know, the basic problem would be that the information screen randomly stays on with the key no where near the ignition once i turned my car off. thanks guys.

Kind of silly question to ask, but can you make sure the key cylinder is in "OFF" position. Reason: It has been reported that after a while, they key can be pulled out in ACC or RUN position.

it is turned all the way to the left if thats what you are asking? my key doesn't budge in ACC or RUN, as in i can't just pull it out. i thought that at first too that it was stuck in ACC but it turns the way it always did with the little push in and then you turn it like always.
