Hey guys,
I stumbled across this pdf while researching if my 01 AWD had a Torsen system.
The 99-00 had the Torsen system while the 01 and up had the Viscous clutch system.
You can download the pdf here:
www.lexus.com/contact/pdf/XXXX/XXXXRXspecs.pdf
just replace the X with your year model.
I didn't see this in the FAQ. Would this qualify for that?![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Also, on the model page under th FAQ lexus has removed all the 99-01 model specs from their website![Crying](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/Peace.gif)
Edit: if you change the model to another one (RX to GS, LX, LS, IS) you can download it for those as well. Is there anyway to maybe sticky this for all the sub model forums?
Edit: Better link: http://www.lexus.com/contact/model_s...ricing_rx.html
If you look to the left you will see the other models as well. Disregard the first link.

If I understand it correctly, they all have a viscous coupling that is in the transfer case and 1999-2000 had an optional Torsen limited slip differential in the rear. For 2001 they started using the brakes to simulate the limited slip differential.
Thanks for the links!
