Hi Everyone,

Great forum, can anyone recommend a good place to get great pricing on parts for an older RX, does not have to be in Florida? Also, can any suggest a good independent garage in the Boca Raton area?

Parts required are lower control arms and ball joints as well as an engine mount.

Thanks very much.

Are you looking for repair parts or a whole car?

Thanks

I have been coming down to the Broward County FL area for the past 7 winters and have yet to find a good Lexus/Toyota independent service center. I find this surprising since there are many up in the Washington DC area where I spend the rest of the year. So, let me know if you find a Lexus-trained mechanic working independently.

Problem here in Miami-Dade County is that a lot of the independents will hose you as much as the dealers. I have a place I go to nearby my home (doesn't specialize in Lexus per se), but I use them when I need some tools or need to get the entire vehicle up on a rack. It's quite funny, because for almost any other make of car down here, there are a ton of good independents.

www.rockauto.com is another good place for parts.
