Default Front Bumper Cover Removal How-to Needed

In the process of purchasing an used 2000 RX300. Everything is in great condition except for the front bumper. It has a major scratch on the driver side which can't be buffed out. I was looking on eBay which a reputable seller is selling a painted front bumper cover for $180.

Would like to find out if anyone has replace a front bumper cover in the past and can share any information or picture that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

It has been a very long time and I recall undoing 10mmm bolts. All except two were very obvious. The hidden two were behind the wheel well plastic shield .. some what at the corner of the top edge of the bumper.

Salim.

I did it a year or so ago and it was not hard at all. Takes some gymnastics to reach up and disconnect the corner light wires. Be sure to carefully check the captive nuts that hold your front license plate. Now would be the time to replace them if they are the least bit rusty.

Thanks guys. Sounds like a job that can be easily done with a few tools. The body shop wanted $500 to put it in for me.
