Plug #2 that i changed was carboned up. Oily deposits. Replaced, ran engine and checked it looks fine now. This condition has occurred before on #2. Service tech reports lower than normal compression on this cylinder. Engine consumes lots of oil

There's two additives that may help: Lubro Moly Motor Oil Save (at Napa Auto Parts) and Restore Oil Additive (about at any auto place) that are worth a shot before doing extensive cylinder work. In addition, you could run a heavier 30 oil like Castrol 0W30, Amsoil 0W30 or Pennzoil Platinum 5W30.

Running out of options
I'm getting frustrated, went to dealer told me it was coils 2,4, & 6 had them replaced. Also changed the plugs. Drive out of the dealership, runs good till later that day. Again, I get the stuttering/misfire, no brakes, smell of fumes etc.... I go back they tell me to change the ocv, get that done.
Same thing happening, just do not know what to do next. If someone could PLEASE help, any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

esugar,
Seems to me your dealer doesn't know how to diagnose your problem and just keeps throwing parts at it.
Very rare to have all 3 coil pack go bad on the same Bank In this case it would be bank 2 which is on the radiator side. What actual codes do you have?
You said the OCV had been changed. Did you have a P1354 code?
We need your codes to find the root of you problem since it could be a number of possibilities.

Thanks Nad, I'll pull the codes again. Dealers are a joke, they keep troubleshooting on my expense and just keep swapping ineffective parts out. I'm about $600 in so far and nothing has been done. I'm hoping I can try and do it myself, I'm broke.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

303- cylinder 3 (rear center)
306- cylinder 6 (driver's side front)
300- that's a random misfire (ignore this one)
I'd also have the plugs examined to check the gap and also there condition. Another possibility is also the injectors (could be dirty) in those cylinders. Apart from this as I mentioned earlier, you may have an issue with the cylinder themselves (the piston rings or cylidner walls) and some oil might be leaking past into the combustion itself.
Were you getting a flashing check engine light at any point after the coils were replaced?

Yeah the check engine light does blink sometimes. P0300 is not a valid code? I was trying to figure this one out, thanks. I'm going to try and get to rear center 303 coil, but from what I've read it's a mess to get to it. I'll swap out coil 302 w/ 303 to see if the problem may have shifted. Go from there and see what happens, thanks for info.

Getting the coil out from back there just takes a 10mm wrench to get the bolt off. See my spark plug DIY as that explains the coils as well (but yeah getting those rear plugs is a pain), but doing the coils is not too hard, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...-patience.html
