RX 300 Xenon Ballast
I have a 2002 RX 300. When I was getting the timing belt changed, the mechanic told me I had a xenon light out. After investigation told me that my Ballast was bad because of moisture in the housing. I was quoted almost $1200 for a new Ballast by the dealer. I found one for less than a $100 on ebay.
Is this something I can easily install myself? Is there any instructions with pictures or videos of how to replace the Ballast on the passenger side?

Can you lay your finger on the bad ballast?
Once you do, then you can figure out if it is within your skill level and if you have the tools for it.
It should not require any special skill/training.
To be safe, disconnect the gnd on the battery.
