RX300 Jaos Gear or Bike Rack Info!?
Hey-
I got me a hand me down 2001 RX 300 that I love to death! I wanted to add a bike rack to carry my mountain bike on the roof of the car. I already have an existing stock roof rack that comes with the SUV. I was wondering if any of you have an info on what type of rack to go with, what's the cheapest and best way to go? Also has anyone put on a cow pusher/brush gaurd on their SUV's? Have you gone with Jaos? What kind of "rugged" mods have you done, (i.e. tires, suspension, gaurds for the front bumper and lights, and rear bumper lights, tow hitch). Also what about some power mods?! Thanks a lot for any help/support, btw. pictures would be great too!

congrats on the Rx... i wished i got a 2001 hand me down 
but ya, look around and you'll see plenty of stuff all over. Salim i think was the one who has the JAOS front bar. Me and Harrier has the RMM front bar. Sypher has the WAGG set. Also me and him has the weapon r intake and RMM exhaust. Obi got some rims, Paddy got the fuzzy dice .... so dont worry, look around and you'll find a good bunch of stuff.

I have the roof mounted bike rack. The one found in the RX brochure. I purchased it from my Lexus dealer - it's actually labeled as a Toyota bike rack. Do a search; there was a thread a while back about bike racks. Another member was looking for one and I believe he purchased a hitch mounted unit.
