I can't believe the size of the RX350
I'm posting this to the RX300 forum, because you will probably be the most in agreement with me.
I stopped by JM Lexus for a Club-Lexus of Florida-co-sponsored event this afternoon. I can't believe the size of the RX350, compared to the RX300. They should have called it a GX350, and come out with an RX280 or something in the 3,600 lb range (what my RX300 is).
Am I the only one who feels this way? I'm in small minorities in many of my other views too

You're not alone, the RX has grown in size with successive generations, and when you park the 3RX next to the 1RX the difference is clear. Thing is, customers have wanted more size (maybe the growth in the average American size also has something to do with it).
Still, the growth of the RX has left some observers considering a sub-RX model that would be more of a successor to the 1RX (and maybe smaller, and Europe-focused). This 'cute-ute' was once thought to be called the JX350. But the current Lexus leadership feels that such a market isn't big enough at this point (save the GLK, most other such models have had not large sales).
