Default temperature control not working

I have a RX300 2001 lexus. All the temperature controls at the bottom roll on the dash board (temperature ****, defrost, ac, air blower....) were dead. no light and not function at all when pressed. But the heat was on once I star the engine. I guess the heat was on since the last time it was working. I hope someone know the problem and share with me before I bring it to the mechanic.
Any help is appreciated.

If the thing does not reset on switching off->on, then check fuses. Try removing battery for 30mins or so [some software gremlins get cleaned out this way].

If these dont help, then visit dealership.

Check your 7.5 amp gauge fuse located inside the car.
It should be in the lower left side of the dash behind the coin tray.

Thanks for the replies, I will try tomorrow and hope it is just a simple fuse or battery reset.
