My family is thinking of getting an RX300 but if they're gonna design a new one then we'd rather wait. Let me know what you guys know is in for the next years model? Or would getting one be good now, cuase we are looking to purchase a car sometime in mid july. thanks.

.........The new redesigned RX 300 (actually, it will probably be called the RX 330 as it will have a larger 3.3L V6 from sources at Lexus) will arrive sometime in Spring or Summer of 2003 as a 2004 Model exactly coinciding with the new Lexus plant which will build it here in North America - This is however a bad thing and if you, like myself and a good majority of people, buy Lexus/Toyota products over anything else because of their supreme reliability, quality and durability. You will probably be better off waiting at least 2 years (3rd model year) as Lexus has to deal with not one, but two major drawbacks resulting in reliability/quality issues: The Unavoidable fact that vehicles built in North America are inherently inferior in quality to ones built by dedicated and conscientious workers in Japan and the fact that this is going to be a brand new plant requiring bugs to be worked out.
