Very true- That's granite deposited by the combination of refined dinosaur fat and HIGH crankcase heat. The baffle is very close to the opening where the oil goes in and that's all you can see is baffle covered with "granitized" deposit. I cleaned that off in my DIL's RX and believe me it seems like it's been there since the dinosaurs deposited it.

I am using Mobil Clean 5000 5w30, I only use this for now because I am in the middle of my first Auto-RX treatment.
