Just bought a 2002 Rx and the CD player doesn't work. Radio works fine. Any Ideas what could be the problem . Also how much to replace the cd unit and how hard a job is it. It is in the glovebox .Thanks Jimbo

Do a google search and you will hit sites that repair CD changers for cars. Their site has instructions and pictures explaining how to remove different audio components.

You can choose to send it to them or buy a replacement.

Usually costs $120-$200 to repair (most of the work is dissassembly and diagnosis) - anything less than that and I would be suspicious. If you can find a used one on e-bay, that's guarranteed, for less then this might be the better way to go.
