Default looking to upgrade wheels from 16's to 17's

We recently bought a 99' RX300 and was interested in putting on some 225/65R 17's which is stock on RX350. Unsure if putting these on will cause any problems as far as limiting my turning radius or any type of rubbing on coil springs. Has anyone upgraded to larger wheels or came across any issues. Feedback is greatly appreciated.:

Are you thinking about larger tires too? Typically you just increase the rim size and get tires with less sidewall to give you same overall size as the original setup.

Hi Salimshah, am I pushing the limit if I went with 245/65R/17's?

Well, the 225/65R17 has the same rolling radius as the 225/70R16 stock tire. Some posters on this board have installed 245/60R17s without problems. Do a search on the board ("245") .

I personally would never entertain the thought of larger dia or wider than the standard. [You can go with larger dia rim] I am sure the design point can stand some variation, but I am chicken ... keep in mind the affect it has on transmission, stability etc.
