Default New to Lexus. Thanks to all.

The wife wanted a small SUV so we sold a 04 altima with 68k miles for a 03 RX300 FWD with 81K. All the options are mostly the same but the RX has no squeeks of rattles. It was dealer serviced in Katy Tx. I am very impresses with the RX forum information. I am a DIY'er. The only shadow is the tranny on the rx. Service on the tranny is unknown but the fluid is still clean and clear. But, it will be getting changed soon. (not a flush aka kiss of death)Our altima had a 2.5 I-4 getting 21-22 mpg in town and the lexus is almost that on our second tank with a V6.

Once again, hello, and thanks to all that contribute. The iyi sticky is the best.
Don't forget your cabin air filters!!

Its good mpgs if I'm not in the car. My wife drives soooo sloooooow. It's good she can make a car last. She had a Ford ranger with 220k miles on it years back.

I forgot we went to my moms which is a nice highway drive so I may be off on the mpg's for the city. I will repost my correction after we fill next week.

Update: My mpg is just like everyone else. 15-16 in town no road trips yet. Oh well, still like the RX over the Altima.
