99-02 RX300 FWD transmission interchangeable with other Lexus models?
More specifically the U140E transmission, i found out that the 1999 ES300 also uses the same transmission.
Are they interchangeable?

Tranny #'s are the same but there are subtle diff. in the casting.
As one fellow member here found out, he had to swap out the rear trans cover to fit the trans mount onto the cross member for it to bolt on.
