I have a 99 Rx300 FWD with a bad engine. Truck has only 99 thousand miles. I want to fix it and replace the engine with a used one, but they seem so expensive. Is there any other toyotas/lexus with the 1mzfe engine that would be compatible with my truck? i can save over 500 dollars if so, and if not what do you think the truck would be worth selling with a bad engine?
thanks
thanks

Welcome to Club Lexus.
Some members have been able to install a highlander engine with some modifications. So, i'll just let them talk about their experience. In the meantime you can use the search function and find threads on installing a highlander engine.
By the way, I'm curious to know how/why your engine failed.
