I'm hoping to replace the worn tan front seats on my 99 or possibly just the upholstery. It would be easier to swap out seats than to reupholster them if I find some really good ones. Does anyone know if the seats are interchangeable between all the years? Thanks for the input!

I looked into this with my 99 rx300 seats. The cheapest way is to go to your nearest toyota or lexus dealer. Ask them who they have put in the leather interiors when the get vehicles that come with cloth and the customer wants leather. They should send you to a upholstery shop nearby. Thats what I did and only paid $800. My car came out perfect. I also looked for good/decent seats online and nearby junk yards. All the seats were in horrible condition for what you would pay. Way better off having the seats done at a upholstery shop.

Was this just for the front 2 seats? If so, did they do a good job matching the color/texture/pattern? Do you have some pictures?
