interior.......this was the protoype dash piece I have been working on. you can see where the 10.5" lcd will fit, new pioneer deh840mp deck, relocated factory lcd and ac/radio controls.....oh yeah razo shift **** w/overdrive button. also can see the valentine one radar detector concealed display unit on the steering column and the pioneer steering wheel remote.

this dash piece was just the prototype......I have a new one that we are working on. will look much better then this one. more goodies added to the dash and will be adding the wood accents back in and relocating the air vents.......this one was just to get an iread of where we could go with it..........any ideas please let me know

You are working hard, and quick, on making a unique RX. Looking good! You're doing some crazy mods...the dash looks like it's coming along nicely. How does the exhaust sound?

I've been wondering something about the blue LCD screen. Is there a cover over the screen that is replaceable? A square plastic piece maybe...

I really like that chrome hatchback handle bar. Looks great
against the black paint. Especially with those new taillights.

I've been eyeballing some yellow fogs to drop in down there, too.

So, you gonna drop it an inch or two with some new springs?

wow, great job. I like how you relocated the factory lcd and controls. I'm really impressed by the all black paint. I've been thinkin of doin to that to my RX also. How much did you get that done for? Did they use stock paint?

Ur interior is really something man, I like that place where u put ur new CD Player, can u take more photos at that place and some photos on that new dash that u r working on. Maybe u can earn some money by making custom dash for us. I would certainly like one. Give me a reply if you have interest and have the time to make a custom dash for me. All I need is like a really good finish for a CD player, as u can see in my pic, I have that Alpine deck but doesn't look like a good finish. Help me out man. !!!

lexrx: thanks man. actually been working real slow on the dash......been off an on since january. i got a sudden spark to work on the ride and have been working on it every weekend now. the exhaust has a mellow tone to it. a little louder then stock but a lot lower tone. and ya, the lcd has a replaceable (easily scratchable) plastic cover.........if you can find a piece that is the same size, you should be able to replace it. i scratched mine and will be using a piece of lexan to replace it with.

paddywagon: thanks, i like the chrome on black as you can tell =) i thought about lowering it, but i kinda like the ride quality and the view from the stock suspension. i think i might ride high for a while.........hahaha. fuzzy dice.........hmmmmm, do they make black and chrome ones? lol

nerdspeed: thanks to you to bro, i bought sooo much stuff in the last few weeks it has kinda become a blur. i think i paid 450 or 550$ for the paint, they took out three dings in the doors and hood, and buffed the whole vehichle out. good deal i think hahaha i think it made the whole vehichle look totaly different. honestly it is my favorite mod.......couldn't stand the grey and black. no offense to anyone i just think the grey made the rx look cheaper.

swing: thank you bro, gotta wait till i am a little closer to completion on the new dash piece before i post any pics of it. i'll help you out on a new dash piece.....but it is a lot of work. just depends on what you need done. relocating the stock unit is a very tedious and in depth task.......i guess that is why i haven't seen it done anywhere else. kind of scary cutting and splicing so much wires and plastic. where's your pic at???

last one....in case you missed the other thread....here's a stereo system teaser. it's the unfinished sub setup. the boxes have been fiberglassed/ bondo'd for a better shape........flows into the interior better, rounded and curved edges almost looks stock =) still have to cover them in vinyl to match the seats. anyway here is the begining.......you'll get the end result when they are done lol. there is one on each side also amp racks to be built on back of the seats.
