New to Site - Recently Purchased a 2002 RX300 Coach Edition
Hello,
Just registered with this site today after doing a search for some "how to" information. This seems like a great site for information.
In June we purchased a used (one owner) 2002 RX300 - Coach Edition with only 43K miles.
We have had Suburbans for the past 15 years but with two of the four kids now in college we decided to downsize (much to my dismay). I will say, however, that the RX we bought is by far the nicest vechicle we have ever owned (as well as our first Lexus). I have been very pleased with the vechicle and am continually impressed with how easy things are to change or replace or access. I've only had to change a tail light and today I replaced the cabin air filter; but, both were less than five minute jobs. Not that either would be a daunting task normally but just how well these vehicles are engineered is a very refreshing thing.
I need to update our NAV dvd and plan to do a search for (hopefully) less expensive ways to do so other than the expensive dealer option (feel free to comment or direct me on this if you'd like).
The only thing I can remotely complain about on this vehicle is the terrible turning radius. However, with all the nice ammenities, smooth ride, comfortable interior... that's not that big of a complaint.
Looking forward to learning about Lexus stuff on this site.

Thanks Keith.
Did a quick search and the guide I found shows it as Generation 2/3. LoL
So I'll see what I can find from the vehicle when my wife gets home from work.
