Robert,
Definitely Michellins as per my friend who's in the engineering dept of a wheel manufacturer. As wheel manufacturing gets better the flaws in tires are becoming more evident. In the past if you have a slightly off wheel and a slightly off tire they can match mount it (they also use road force balancing equip these days). I've noticed a lot of OEM michellins too so either the auto manufacturers are getting a great deal or these tires bring out the best in their cars (or don't expose their flaws) I can somewhat attest to that too. I have a 00 4runner and they are hypersensitive to wheel balancing. I had michellins then switched to goodyears that were a nightmare (I think 2 out of 4 were out of round) so after a lot of research I was going to replace them with the michellin latitude tour but I decided to go with Pirelli scorpion ATRs. I'm assuming you don't need AT tires, so from my research the lat tours were the best that was available from discounttiredirect. you might have better choices. I also have bridgestone potenzas on my honda accord and they are great too.
