LEXMEX> The code came on the first time for me about 2 weeks ago. I did not get codes at that time. took neg. batt. cable off. codes went away for about a week. VTC and DK eng. lights came on agian yeaterday on start of 360mile drive. Called previous owner after first episode. He says they have come on before and dealer found loose vac. hose.

There's not really anything I could tell you to do from this distance. If it were my vehicle, I'd be able to hook it up to and OBD2 scanner and see what the readings were, but even then, I'd have to search every vaccum line to see if there was a leak, loose hose/connection or some other issue. It would be interesting to know what exact hose they replaced.

WooPS! Found the loose vac. hose behind the Afilter. Going to give the boys at Oil Can Henrys a little lecture. All is well. Thanks so much for the advise.
