I have a P1730 code which is the counter gear speed sensor. The very poor diagram I have shows it is on the right side front of the engine. Does anyone have a good diagram or picture of the unit so I can see it clearly. Also where can I get a part number so I can order on line? Thanks.

As of what I can remember from memory, it's located near the starter. You may want to start by checking the connections.

OK thanks. I don't have the vehicle with me - my daughter has it. Where is the starter located?

under the air intake as it goes from the filter box over to the driver side firewall.
The starter will be towards the air filter box.
