Default A/C or Heater water leak?

Hi have an 2002 Rx 300 getting wet floor mat on passenger side? I hear this can be caused by a heater leak? Who has some sdvise and what to check and how. Thanks in advance

The heat works by using the hot coolant. Is your coolant level dropping? It also has a sweet peculiar smell.

The AC on the other hand produces water by condensation. There is a pipe that should drain the condensate out. You can take a length of edger/trimmer plastic wire and feed it up the drain tube.
